The Beginning  Yes, it is not yet the end, even though sooner or later we will part our ways. A new chapter is awaiting on our book, a new wave of events are to look forward to. It felt like a blink of an eye, looking back at yesterday’s dream, there were so much, indeed. Most of which was success that we all had reap from our sweats and dedication to our education. Years feel like  seconds if you have had enjoyed the company of the people who surrounds you despite the mishaps of this junior year journey. Exactly what I feel, as I step closer to the stage and march my way to completion. Not only I filled with the knowledge that my teachers have given me, but the experience of greatness of each and every have shared. It is pretty funny going back at seventh grade; all were full of innocence, mischief, childish behavior and many more! Then there would be love teams being created, campings as bindings and seminars as a deep talk session with school mates expressing for who we are

Dream the impossible dream

I asked my mother what would I be; will I be pretty, will I be rich and here’s what she said to me. Que sera, sera. What ever will be, will be the future’s not ours to see, que sera sera. The song goes as it plays  in my head. When I was still a sprouting seed, I imagined myself running my own small clinic, along with my small businesses at the side. I also asked my mother, what will I be? Instead of telling me that I’ll be a successful doctor, she replied; “You will be the person who you think you are today.” I never understood what she meant long ago, but as her words unravel, I slowly comprehended the message. Little by little, the threads of my interest slowly created a beautiful cross-stitch; wow, it engraved the entitlement “M.D.” Suddenly, my interest shifted as I entered high school. I developed my verbal abilities, and I wanted to become a lawyer someday. To stop injustice of every kind, especially to those who fabricate evidences. Unfortunately, I suck at memorizing. Th

It is I, Renewed Version

For the earlier years of my life, i have been watered of showered with so much love that this world can offer. from the sun shine that the sun gives me the glow that i need to possess. from the natures bounty it provides, nourishes me. Somehow, i had a little transition along the way. the bitterness of this world, crumpled the godliness in me. the bullets pierced through my flesh, as i bled, i saw how much beauty i have lost. the world craves so much attention and affection which lured me to its grave. slowly, the grace and talent that blessed me starts to whither and die. i became sickly and pale. i failed to rise and beat the battle i had to win. as tears burst out, the demons within started to laugh and made a ridicule out of me; they were thirsty for my tears that were carried through the years. I feel weak and drained. my feet covered with mud. the i saw a light, it gave me strength and life once again. Hello 2020. it might've been a tough road, but it armored me.

Vawc

We are all familiar with the story: a man batters his wife and leaves her profusely bleeding and almost to death, their children trembling with fear and sobbing uncontrollably; the man flees the scene of abuse and the neighbors takes pity on the battered woman and brings her to the closest hospital for treatment.  The bruises might heal in a week or two but the shock and the hidden psychological wounds inflicted by the dastardly act will remain for the rest of her life.  It is not only her who will bear the burden of pain both seen and unseen; the children who helplessly witnessed the unmitigated violence against a loved one will also forever be tarnished.  It will be an uphill battle but time might be able heal and hide and the scars of violence. A sad, sad story that is often told and splashed in our TV screens now and again. We watch with incredulity that shortly turns into resignation and pity for there is nothing we can do to individuals who are not related to us. What happens t
