     The Philippines is prone to disasters like typhoons, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes that leads to devastation. One disaster that is terrifying is an earthquake. We must be prepared since earthquakes are movements  of the earth’s crust and it could be strong or weak. In this situation, unpreparedness could lead us to our doom, or in other words, death
     According to the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill aims to intensify local communities’ earthquake preparedness. The organization of NDRRMC seeks to strengthen the mechanism of commitment of local government units in building safe communities, prepares us to open and be aware of the upcoming earthquakes.
     Our safety doesn’t rest in the hands of an agency, but lies on our very hands as we put it together. Individuals should be aware, and body and mind ready of earthshattering events. In participating the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill will further push us to be ready in advance and aware.
     However, other individuals do not take practices seriously for the reason that earthquake drill practices are yearly conducted and they brag on what they already know on their first attended practice. We should take things like this seriously since our lives are on the line.

It was founded long before when we were born, it dated back on 1572. vigan is a city in the philippines, on the west coast of luzon island. it is known for its preserved spanish colonial and asian architecture.  Inside the fiesta days of vigan city, biguenos on every 22nd to 25th day of january, celebrates the highlight of their festival, longganisa festival. for nearly two decades, it actually became traditional cultural festival. the celebration has turned into a group cabinet as vigan longganisa, a local renditio of mexican salami. The festival which will be held until 27th day of january corresponds with the commemoration festivity of vigan city's cityhood. along with the celebration of vigan's longganisa, the event is also to honor the conversion of saint paul the apostle (vigan's own patron saint).

From the past disasters caused deaths and damages, we must learn and put in mind that our life is at stake and be resilient in our own way.             Executive Order No. 29 signed on June 28, 2017 that is issued by President Rodrigo Duterte declares that July of every Year as the National Disaster Resilience Month in the Philippines.
