Junk foods like chips,
soft drinks, processed food and sweets are big yes’ to many people who may be
aware or not aware of the nutritional value that it contains, the taste may be
good, but are you sure it’s good for you?
Nutrition and being
healthy is very important to us and it lies in our hands of taking care of our
body. This month of July, we celebrate Nutrition Month that its theme ‘Kumain
ng wasto at Maging Aktibo… Push Natin to,’ aims to seek the awareness and importance of making food choices and
development of physical activity habits.
This campaign aims to
promote the consumption of healthy diets, increase of physical activities, and
reduce sedentary behavior through activities of daily living among individuals
and families since many of us eat junk food, having a bad sleeping habit and
physical activity habits all of these are detrimental.
Having a good diet plan, staying active and
having enough rest is being healthy. Young or old we should have a healthy
lifestyle in order to achieve a healthy body. Benefits of having a healthy body
are free from diseases, improve memory and prolong our life.
