Happy School Movement According to a news article posted by Mylin A. Alambat, Ed.D.; With the birth of Child Protection Policy in 2012, known as the Policy and Guidelines on Protecting Children in School from Abuse, Violence, Exploitation, Discrimination, Bullying and Other Forms of Abuse, various symposia, seminars and other information dissemination campaigns have been initiated by different schools to let teachers, learners and everybody know their do’s and don’ts in dealing with a learner. This became an eye-opener to everyone on how fragile and delicate our learners are, thus they deserve to be loved and taken with utmost care. Activities and movements had been in the center stage to make our schools a child-friendly haven. Buwan ng Wika According to Wikipedia, Buwan ng Wika or Language Week is a celebration in the Philippines held during the month of August. This is an extended celebration of Language Week which was extended on January 15, 1997 through proclamation number 1041 by former President Fidel V. Ramos. Language month is often celebrated in schools. There was not a single language spoken in the Philippines when the Spaniards arrived. There are 3 major languages spoken in the archipelago, Kapangpangan, Ilokano, Cebuano. This 2019 Buwan ng Wika has a theme of; “Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino’’

Reflection

Reflection  Blogging  is an open avenue of writing where it is convenient in expressing one's thoughts and it develops communication skills. By gaining these learnings, composing what to talk about the given topics was a challenge. But with the help of researching, it further made me come up with ideas. Moving on, I will further understand about the use of having the access of blogging.
